Designing excellence: Crafting a symbol of vigilance for the Australian Army
Brand DesignThe Australian Army’s Troop 22 sought a custom emblem patch design to symbolise their vigilance, artillery connections, and the spirit of their unit. The client had specific elements to incorporate into the design and wanted the emblem to incorporate their regimental colours (red and blue).
The emblem patch design successfully captured the spirit, dedication, and professionalism of the Troop 22 regiment. The Australian Barn Owl symbolised their vigilance, while the crossed cannons highlighted their artillery connections. The stylised ‘V’ represented Victoria, and the number ’22’ subtly reinforced their identity. The phrases “Ubique” and “Stand and Deliver” were integrated seamlessly to represent their links to the artillery corps. The Melbourne colours added a touch of distinction to the design.
The final emblem patch design is a proud representation of the unit, encompassing its history, values, and commitment. We are delighted to have contributed to their identity and are honoured to have designed a symbol that represents their spirit and service to the Australian Army
