A brand for the people
Brand DesignThe owners of Hampton’s newest cafe, Merrymen, came to us with a name but no branding or solid identity. The coffee-fanatic duo were inspired by Robin Hood, so we drew inspiration from Sherwood Forest and the cafe’s location alike to create a new brand identity to launch the cafe.
We came up with a new tagline worthy of their legendary outlaw hero: “Coffee for the people”. This was anchored in a forest green brand design set with a Bayside-inspired pine tree and ocean waves to speak to both the name’s heritage and the local area.
